The UV light wavelength is the minimum and there's no heat when using it  so it's called cold light which can mark on non-metal material like wood,plastic,glass,fabric,PVC,etc . When using the UV laser marking on the non-metal waterials, the cold laser will not burn the surface of material to keep the material intact.
